Privacy Policy

Tiny Squares ("the app") is a painting app for children, developed by Simon Grimm ("we", "us"). We built it so that children can play safely, and that starts with not collecting their data.

The short version

• We do not collect, store or share any personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code (SDKs) in the app.
• There are no accounts, no chat and no way to contact other people in the app.
• The app works fully offline.

Data stored on your device

Paintings, settings and progress are saved only on your device so your child can continue where they left off. This data never leaves the device and is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it. If you use iCloud or device backups, Apple may include this data in your backup under Apple's own privacy policy.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, protected by a parental gate. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or any other personal information. Apple only tells the app whether the purchase has been made. Children's privacy

Tiny Squares is designed for children and is listed in the App Store Kids category. Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Links to the outside world and purchases are placed behind a parental gate.

This website

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may process technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
